"Soldiers Under Command" showcases a polished hard rock sound characteristic of the mid-1980s, blending powerful guitar riffs with melodic hooks. The production is crisp, allowing the dual guitar harmonies to shine alongside a driving rhythm section. Tracks like "Makes Me Wanna Sing" and "Together Forever" feature upbeat tempos and anthemic choruses, while "First Love" introduces a softer, more introspective texture. The album balances energetic rock anthems with moments of reflection, creating a dynamic listening experience. The use of layered vocals enhances the emotional impact, particularly in tracks like "Surrender" and "Together As One." Overall, the album's distinctive blend of rock and pop sensibilities, combined with its polished production, makes it a standout in the genre.
