Perdu d'avance" showcases a raw and introspective sound, characterized by its blend of laid-back beats and sharp lyricism. The production features a mix of minimalist instrumentation and atmospheric textures, creating a reflective backdrop for OrelSan's storytelling. Tracks like "Étoiles invisibles" and "Soirée ratée" highlight a balance between melodic hooks and rhythmic complexity, while songs such as "Gros poissons dans une petite mare" inject a more energetic tempo. The album's sonic landscape is marked by a gritty authenticity, with layered samples and subtle electronic elements that enhance the emotional depth of the lyrics.
