"Carried to Dust" envelops the listener in a gritty, atmospheric soundscape that blends alternative rock with rich, Southwestern influences. The production is characterized by a warm, organic texture, utilizing a mix of acoustic and electric instrumentation that includes lush strings, resonant guitars, and subtle percussion. Tracks like "Victor Jara's Hands" and "House of Valparaiso" showcase a slow, deliberate tempo, allowing the intricate arrangements to breathe and resonate. The energy fluctuates between contemplative and dynamic, with a distinct sense of space that enhances the emotional weight of the lyrics.
