The Broad Street Bully

Here, Beanie Sigel sticks to his strong suit: his usual grimy street flow, laced with challenges and bold proclamations in the direction of all opponents. Underneath the beat loops of “Ready for War”, Sigel’s relaxed flow belies the threatening tone of the message he’s delivering, and on the ’70s funk-inspired “Where’s My Opponent”, he's almost whispering his rhymes about both fear and violence. He sounds at home in this lane, aiming at a handful of vague competitors, daring them to move.
