Roc Boys

Beanie Sigel and Freeway balance each other on Roc Boys, Sigel’s slower, meditative flow coming eye-to-eye with Freeway’s frantic, unevenly pitched, scattershot vocals. “Word Right” builds the beat with gritty keys and guitar while Freeway growls through the first verse’s boastful threats. Elsewhere, Sigel steals the show on the drum-heavy “Boss”, rapping about his immortality both on the streets and in the rap industry. Throughout, they trade rhymes in a friendly competition, bringing the best out of every beat.
