Description: "diEversity" is the fourth full length studio album from Finnish gothic metal band Entwine, released 15th March 2004 on the Spikefarm Records label.
This album showed an evolution on their sound, abandoning some of the band's gothic roots and opting for a heavier style. This new style incorporated heavy, de-tuned rhythm guitars alongside more melodic vocals than in previous albums.

Artist Background: Entwine was originally assembled as a death metal band in 1995 by guitarist and vocalist Tom Mikkola, drummer Aksu Hanttu and bassist Taipale. In 1997 they decided to change Entwine's musical style to gothic metal. Rhythm guitarist and vocalist Panu Willman was added to the band's line-up shortly after. In December of that year, Entwine recorded its first demo entitled Divine Infinity. In February 1998 keyboard player Riitta Heikkonen joined the band. Entwine's debut album Treasures Within He... Part of the Lahti, Finland music scene. Emerged in the 1990s era. Associated with Hard Rock movement. Known for Gothic style.
