A Flight and a Crash" delivers a raw and energetic punk rock sound characterized by its driving tempos and gritty instrumentation. The album features a blend of distorted guitars and punchy drums, creating a dynamic backdrop for emotionally charged vocals. Tracks like "Jack of All Trades" and "Choked and Separated" showcase a balance of melodic hooks and aggressive rhythms, while the inclusion of an instrumental track adds a moment of introspection amidst the high-energy flow. The production is polished yet retains a live feel, allowing the textures of each instrument to shine through without losing the urgency that defines the genre. This distinctive approach captures the essence of punk rock while incorporating elements of rock and pop sensibilities.
