"Darkness Come Alive" presents a robust blend of metal and rock, characterized by its gritty guitar riffs and dynamic drumming. The production is polished yet retains a raw edge, allowing the visceral energy of tracks like "Heavy Lies the Crown" and "Knife Wound" to shine through. The album oscillates between mid-tempo grooves and faster, aggressive sections, creating a compelling contrast that keeps the listener engaged. Texturally, the instrumentation layers heavy distortion with melodic undertones, particularly in tracks like "Bear Witness" and "Come Alive," where the interplay between rhythm and melody is pronounced. The overall sound is dense and immersive, making it a distinctive entry in the metal genre.
