Description: Lingua Mortis is the tenth full-length album by the German heavy metal band Rage, released 15 April 1996 on the GUN label.  It's the band's first collaboration with the Prague Symphony Orchestra, which played with the band Rage's songs re-arranged for a classic orchestra. The album consists of re-recorded songs from the previous album, Black in Mind and an epic medley of songs from recent albums to that time.

Artist Background: Rage is a German heavy metal band, formed in 1984. They were part of the German heavy/speed/power metal scene to emerge in the early to mid 1980s, along with bands such as Helloween, Running Wild and Blind Guardian. Rage formed in 1984 under the name, Avenger. After releasing their debut album Prayers of Steel and their Depraved to Black EP in 1985, the band changed their name to Rage because there was another band in England that also carried the moniker. Originally the new name was to be Fu... Part of the Herne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany music scene. Emerged in the 1980s era. Associated with Metal movement. Known for Rock/Pop style.
