Beach House

Beach House is the debut album by Baltimore dream pop duo Beach House and was released on 3 October 2006. The album was included at number sixteen in Pitchfork's list of the best albums of 2006. Pitchfork said the album evoked a "recipe of fairground waltzes, ghosted lullabies, and woodland hymnals" and compared the work of the duo to Mazzy Star, Galaxie 500, Spiritualized and Slowdive. Only 1,100 white vinyl albums were printed. The album has been reissued on black vinyl.
