A Time of Changes" delivers a raw and energetic heavy metal experience characteristic of the NWOBHM movement. The production is straightforward, allowing the powerful guitar riffs and driving rhythms to take center stage. Tracks like "Blitzkrieg" and "Inferno" showcase sharp, aggressive instrumentation, with fast tempos that evoke a sense of urgency and intensity. The album features a mix of soaring melodies and gritty textures, particularly in the anthemic "Armageddon" and the dynamic "Vikings." The instrumental opener "Ragnarok" sets a dramatic tone, while the title track encapsulates the album's thematic depth. Overall, the sound is marked by its unrefined edge, capturing the essence of British metal in the mid-1980s.
