The album features heavy guitar riffs layered with orchestral strings, creating a rich sonic tapestry that enhances the dramatic themes of the lyrics. Tracks like "Fire Forever" and "Terror Jungle" maintain a high energy with driving tempos, while pieces such as "Children of the Dead Lake" introduce haunting melodies that contrast with the heavier instrumentation. The use of atmospheric keyboards adds depth, particularly in "R'Yleh the Dead," where textures shift from aggressive to ethereal.
