Description: Invictus (Iconoclast III) is the sixth studio album by German extreme metal band Heaven Shall Burn and is the last part of the Iconoclast trilogy, following their previous studio album Iconoclast (Part 1: The Final Resistance) released in 2008 and the live CD/DVD Bildersturm – Iconoclast II (The Visual Resistance) released in 2009.
It was released on May 21, 2010 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. On June 8, 2010 it was released in the United States. The band uploaded the songs "Combat" and "The Omen" on their Myspace profile as a preview.
The album entered the German Media Control Charts at #9. Selling 900 copies in the first week Invictus entered the US Top Heatseekers at #48.

Artist Background: Heaven Shall Burn is a German melodic death metal (early) and metalcore (later) band from Saalfeld, formed in 1996. They combine an aggressive metal sound with lyrics that show a militant support of anti-racism and fighting social injustice. All members of the band are vegetarians and vegans. Heaven Shall Burn was formed in Autumn 1996, under the name Consense. With the recording of its second demo in early 1997, the band changed its name to Heaven Shall Burn. The name is taken from a Marduk ... Part of the Saalfeld, Thuringia, Germany music scene. Emerged in the 1990s era. Associated with Metalcore movement. Known for Metal style.
