Description: The Fourth Dimension is the third studio album released by Hypocrisy on October 25, 1994. The limited edition digipak (cat.-no. NB 112-2 DIGI) — not to be confused with the digipak re-release, had "The Abyss" instead of "The Arrival of the Demons". This track was later re-recorded for The Arrival album. The digipak re-release contains two bonus tracks; "Request Denied" and "Strange Ways" taken from the Maximum Abduction EP. After departure with Masse Broberg - original vocalist - lyrics started to base more on paranormal and science fiction. Person in cover is Mikael Hedlund, Hypocrisy's bass player.

Artist Background: After spending three years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1990, founder Peter Tägtgren returned to his homeland of Sweden, to form his own band. Hypocrisy's early releases were noted as being well-executed death metal, but panned for not being particularly innovative. That criticism waned as the band matured, cultivating a more distinctive sound as well as employing an introspective lyrical approach. Later releases have a more atmospheric sound, with lyrical exploration of aliens and abducti... Part of the Stockholm, Sweden music scene. Emerged in the 1990s era.
