Description: Everblack is the second album by the band Mercenary, released 11 March 2002 and the second through Hammerheart Records. This is the first album to include future lead singer Mikkel Sandager and his brother Morten Sandager on keyboards. This is also the only album to feature Signar Petersen on lead guitars and the last to feature Rasmus Jacobsen on drums. With this album, Mercenary continued along with their death metal roots, but also started to explore their sound with thrash metal elements, as well as clean vocals done by Mikkel Sandager.

Artist Background: Mercenary is a metal band from Denmark, that was formed in 1991. Although they are usually labelled as a melodic death metal band, they use aspects of power metal in their music, as well as thrash metal in their earlier work. Mercenary formed in Aalborg, Denmark in 1991 as the brainchild of Henrik "Kral" Andersen. The band name was taken from a lyric in the Slayer song, "Ghosts of War". After the release of two demos, Domicile (1993) and Gummizild (1994), they were able to sign with Black Day... Part of the Ålborg, Denmark music scene. Emerged in the 1990s era. Associated with Death Metal movement. Known for Metal style.
