De waarheid

"De waarheid" is the sixth studio album by Dutch singer Marco Borsato, released in 1997. It was his third English album and so far also his most successful. The record with over 700,000 copies sold, is one of the best-selling albums ever in the Netherlands. It was also the best-selling album of 1997. The album was recorded at the studio Arnold Mühren in Volendam and mixed and mastered at the Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum. On the album plays Ton Dijkman on drums, Giovanni Caminita on bass, Rob Winter on guitar, John Ewbank on keyboards and piano, Kees ten Dam on alto saxophone and Eddie Conard on percussion. Jan Tekstra, Linda Snoeij, Jessika Hendriks and Ferry Lions are sing ing backing vocals. The text and music are again from John Ewbank, Han Kooreneef and Leo Driessen.
