Description: Totally Krossed Out is the debut album by rap duo, Kris Kross. The album was released on March 31, 1992 for Ruffhouse Records and was produced by Jermaine Dupri. Totally Krossed Out was huge success for the duo, selling over four million copies and making it to #1 on the Billboard 200 and #1 Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, where they remained two and six nonconsecutive weeks respectively. The album also produced four singles including "Jump" (#1 pop hit) and "Warm It Up", both of which made it to #1 on the Hot Rap Singles, as well as two other successful singles "I Missed the Bus" and "It's A Shame". The album was certified 4x platinum by the RIAA. Music videos were released for the four singles and well as one for the song "The Way of Rhyme."

Artist Background: Atlanta natives Kelly (born August 11, 1978) and Smith (born January 10, 1979) were discovered in 1990 by 18-year-old Jermaine Dupri at an Atlanta shopping mall. Along with Dupri they signed a deal with Ruffhouse Records, and recorded their debut album Totally Krossed Out. Entirely produced by Dupri, Totally Krossed Out, was released March 31, 1992 and sold four million copies in the U.S. It included the hit single "Jump", which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks.
