Description: "10cc" is the debut album by British rock band 10cc. It was recorded at Strawberry Studios in Stockport, which was part-owned by guitarist and engineer Eric Stewart, and released on Jonathan King's UK Records label. The album reached No.36 in the UK.
Three of its five singles reached the Top 10 in the UK charts, including "Rubber Bullets", which hit No.1. The closing track, "Fresh Air for My Mama", was a reworking of "You Didn't Like It Because You Didn't Think Of It", the B-side of 1970's "Neanderthal Man", an international hit by the band under its former name of Hotlegs.

Some versions of the album have an altered running order.


Artist Background: Formed in 1970, 10cc began as session musicians calling themselves Hotlegs. Hotlegs scored a surprise U.K. smash hit with the single "Neanderthal Man," subsequently issuing an LP, Thinks: School Times. They also spent some time touring with the Moody Blues. After signing to Jonathan King's U.K. label and rechristening themselves 10cc, inspired by the total amount of semen ejaculated by the average male, the tongue-in-cheek British art-pop band 10cc comprised an all-star roster of Manchester-b... Part of the Manchester, UK music scene. Emerged in the 1970s era. Associated with Pop-Rock movement. Known for Rock/Pop style.
