On April 8, 2008 Melanie released the album in Canada in physical release with "Carolyna" being the first single. In early June, Melanie C confirmed the fifth single to be taken from the album would be "Understand", it was released in July 2008 only in Canada as a dedication to her Canadian fans.

Artist Background: Melanie Jayne Chisholm (born 12 January 1974) is a British singer-songwriter, actress and businesswoman professionally known as Melanie C. She was one of the five members of The Spice Girls, in which she was nicknamed "Sporty Spice". She toured the world for years with the Spice Girls. When the Spice Girls broke up, Chisholm produced her own music. In 1999 she made her first studio album, Northern Star, which sold four million copies.
