Beautiful Vision

The New Age influences that emerge on Beautiful Vision are balanced with Van's talents at writing classic four-minute pop songs. It's an album of celebration. Whether it’s the spiritual quest of “Dweller on the Threshold,” or “Celtic Ray,” where his Irish roots, love for Ray Charles, and religious inspirations connect for one vibrant vision, Van sounds remarkably positive. The bounce in his step while remembering his youth in “Cleaning Windows” is further ecstasy, abetted by his peerless backing band.
