BLOOM*IZ

Delayed for months following a vote-rigging controversy in Produce 48, the Mnet talent show that launched them, IZ*ONE’s first full-length album BLOOM*IZ is a riot of escapist pop—relentlessly upbeat, coquettish, sophisticated and glam. “FIESTA”, their worldwide invitation to party, completes a triumvirate of K-pop perfection that joins their previous smashes “Violeta” and “La Vie en Rose”. High-pitched voices and colourful synth-pop work in tandem to create irresistible drops like “DREAMLIKE”, “EYES” and “AYAYAYA”. And when they slow it down on ballads “SOMEDAY” and “YOU & I”, they generate K-drama levels of feels. BLOOM*IZ shows the 12-member girl group confidently moving forward, reaching triple-espresso levels of perk.
