Searows' sophomore studio album, Death in the Business of Whaling released 23 January 2026. Preceded by lead single 'Dearly Missed' on 2 October 2025 and subsequent singles 'Photograph of a Cyclone', 'Dirt' and 'In Violet', the album features nine tracks and runs just over 42 minutes long. Arriving nearly three and a half years after Searows' debut album Guard Dog, Business of Whaling marks the first time Alec Duckart, the 25-year-old musician behind the name Searows, was not featured as the sole producer of his music.
