Tony Tribe

Anthony Mossop aka Tony Kingston (Tony Tribe) was a Jamaican Rocksteady singer born in Jamaica 9th October 1943. He moved to the UK with his family in 1956. He recorded a reggae-influenced version of "Red Red Wine" in 1969 which reached number forty-six in the UK singles chart. Tony died in a car accident in Canada in 1970.
