In 2017, in the Australian coastal town of Gerringong, a four-piece alternative rock band was born. Blending the sounds of classic rock & roll with a contemporary indie flavour Pacific Avenue stems influence from bands such as Hockey Dad, Skeggs, Gang of Youths, Powderfinger, Catfish & The Bottlemen and Crowded House. Finding local success with their early releases the band released their debut EP “Strawberry Skies” in 2019 which featured some of their most widely acclaimed work to date with the singles “Excuse Me” and “Something Good” having been streamed over half a million times worldwide. The body of work demonstrated the band’s knack for writing timeless rock tunes and solidified their place in the Aussie rock canon as one of the best emerging acts in the country. Pacific have sold out shows around Australia and have supported acts such Tash Sultana, Ocean Alley, Lime Cordiale, Thelma Plum, The Wombats, Skeggs, San Cisco and the Vanns Pacific Avenue have just released their first single of 2020 “My Hero”
