Wake Up by The Vamps
"Wake Up" is the second studio album by British pop band The Vamps. It was released on 27 November 2015 on the Mercury label. It debuted and peaked at number 10 on the UK Albums Chart and has sold 37,437 copies as of December 2015.
Pop delivered with bright eyes, huge hooks and perfect hair, this second album sees the former YouTube sensations shimmy out of the boy band long grass and into accomplished pop-rock territory. They achieve this with a robust injection of attitude. The EDM-pulse and sharp rhymes of guest star Silentó on the aptly-named “Volcano” triggers the shift, the mature “Boy Without a Car” motors through with chugging guitars and a strident chorus and “Worry” is the sort of arresting, urgent lovelorn anthem that highlights their maturation.
