Three Days Grace is the self-titled debut full-length album by Canadian rock band Three Days Grace. It was released on July 22, 2003 through Jive Records. It was their only album under Bertelsmann Music Group, and also as a trio. The album has been certified platinum in Canada and the US
Three Days Grace retain their dramatic post-grunge sound with new vocalist Matt Walst on Human. Walst slays from the start on the kickoff track “Human Race”, his gritty voice a perfect complement to a dense squall of overdrive. The band get spookily dramatic with the hard rock of “Fallen Angel” and its ominous guitar lines. They end things in fittingly cinematic fashion with the haunted, reverb-laden piano of “The Real You”, as Walst whispers and howls into the darkness.
