The London Sessions is the sixth studio album by Dutch DJ and record producer Tiësto. It was released on 15 May 2020 by Musical Freedom, PM:AM Recordings and Universal Music. The album features three collaborations, with Canadian producers Dzeko and Shaun Frank, and British producer Jonas Blue, as well as uncredited collaborations with Luis Torres, Gorgon City and Burns.
Tiësto’s seventh album is a collage of glossy dance-pop collaborations that feature some of the UK’s finest vocalists, including Becky Hill (“Nothing Really Matters”, “Over You"), Mabel (“God Is a Dancer”) and Rita Ora (“Ritual”). Despite its title, the project isn’t exclusively British; Snoop Dogg, Post Malone and The Kid Daytona also make appearances on tracks like “On My California” and “Jackie Chan” that feel more Hollywood than London. Even though the album emphasises Tiësto’s pop prowess, the Dutch producer is first and foremost a house head, and his long-time fans will particularly appreciate “Insomnia”, the adrenaline-pumping club cut that relies as heavily on rhythm, tension and release as it does on Violet Skies’ soprano.
