Sing When You're Winning is the third studio album by English singer-songwriter Robbie Williams. Following the release of his last album, I've Been Expecting You in 1998, and in the middle of promotion and touring in 1999, Robbie found time to start the work on what would be his third studio album. The title name is a reference to a famous football chant of the same name, with Williams being a fan of Port Vale F.C.. The album cover features multiple images of Williams celebrating winning a trophy at Chelsea's stadium Stamford Bridge. The original release of the album's does not feature Williams' name or the album title on the front cover, nor does it feature a track listing on the back. This was changed for future releases. The album artwork was taken by photographer Paul M. Smith, and along with Robbie's complete football strip, was later sold at auction to raise money for his charity, Give It Sum. Williams toured the United Kingdom with Kylie Minogue in October and November 2000 to promote the album, selling-out in every venue.

The triumphant artwork suggests Robbie’s at his most cocksure on his eclectic fourth album. There’s certainly irresistible swagger to “Kids”–a salacious dance-rock duet with Kylie Minogue–and the post-punk-meets-house thump of “Rock DJ”. However, this is also another Robbie album that benefits from introspection. He’s a tender country troubadour on lover’s apology “If It’s Hurting You” and bruised-but-spirited on John Lennon-inspired ballad “Better Man” and “Supreme”’s disco-rock.
