Between The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea is the third studio album by Black Stone Cherry. Produced by Howard Benson, it was released on May 31, 2011. The album debuted at #29 on the Billboard 200, selling 13,000 copies in its first week.
The third studio album from Kentucky’s Black Stone Cherry is dominated by massive post-grunge riffs with a distinctly Southern flair. "White Trash Millionaire" is a distorted classic-rock boogie powered by sleazy grooves, while the plaintive "In My Blood"—which pledges allegiance to the touring lifestyle—ends in a torrential downpour of bluesy, headbanging licks. Even the acoustic-flecked "Stay", which was later covered by Florida Georgia Line, is a wrenching power ballad whose guitars burst forth on the heart-wrenching chorus.
