"Back from the Edge" is the second studio album by British singer-songwriter James Arthur. It was released on 28 October 2016 by Columbia Records. The album includes the single "Say You Won't Let Go" which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart. The Deluxe edition features four extra tracks. DigitalSpy wrote --- "I'll let you decide what you want to believe," James offers on stadium-sized anthem 'I am' – and there's always the chance that he will never be able to shift the regrettable moments of his professional past in some people's eyes. But here, when the music is left to do the talking, James Arthur finally delivers on the promise he showed as a Scherzy boy on The X Factor four years ago. This is the winner we all wanted.

The fall from grace may be an established part of the reality narrative but The X Factor winner James Arthur triumphantly flips the script on this energetically soulful second album. Personal turmoil—including an ongoing tussle with anxiety—proves the ultimate creative fuel. “Prisoner” is a bluesy hymn to self-destructiveness, “Phoenix” turns symbolic rebirth into a lusty neo-R&B cut and “Sermon”, featuring rapper Shotty Horror, is a fittingly confessional, gospel-tinged behemoth.
