"All Bright Electric" is the ninth studio album by the Welsh rock band Feeder. It was released on 7 October 2016 on the Cooking Vinyl label. Two singles were released from the album, "Universe of Life" and "Eskimo". The album received generally positive reviews from critics. Classic Rock gave the album 8/10, saying that "Feeder are back in scintillating style" and describing All Bright Electric as "Feeder's most satisfying album to date." Kerrang! rated it 4/5, saying that All Bright Electric is "the sound of a band reconnected" and that the band have "rediscovered their drive, their darkness, and their sense of self-discovery."
The rock duo continue to mine their psyches and re-engage their heavier side. On Feeder’s ninth album, Grant Nicholas’s self-reflection unleashes demons and doubt ("Eskimo") and post-millennial anxiety ("Divide the Minority"), as well as finding optimism on the scuzz-glam of "Paperweight". One thing he’s always known is the power of a big chorus and this is an album littered with thrilling hooks – none sharper than the one cutting through the enormous riffs of "Hundred Liars".
